3D Scanning and Modeling

Known as reverse engineering (also referred to as reverse technology), is a process of reproducing product design techniques. It involves conducting reverse analysis and research on a target product to deduce and derive design elements such as its processing workflow, organizational structure, functional characteristics, and technical specifications, ultimately enabling the creation of a product with similar functionality but not entirely identical. Commonly used software for this purpose includes VXelements.
Design modeling, on the other hand, involves using 3D modeling software to create the desired 3D model based on technical drawings. Commonly used 3D modeling software includes Geomagic Studio, ZBrush, Freeform Plus, Surfacer, and others.

CNC Machining / SLA Printing

CNC machining typically refers to computer numerical control precision machining. It involves importing a 3D model into the machine, programming the processing sequence, and machining the material to achieve the desired shape.
SLA printing, on the other hand, involves inputting a 3D model into a 3D printer, which uses a high-power laser to cure liquid resin and produce the required 3D model.

Vacuum Casting / Low-Pressure Injection / FRP

Vacuum Casting involves creating a silicone mold from a prototype, then pouring liquid material into the mold. The material solidifies through a chemical reaction, replicating the product. This process uses the prototype to directly duplicate the product.
Low-Pressure Injection is a process where two reactive raw materials—polyurethane components and resin mixtures—enter a mixing chamber under certain pressure, undergoing high-speed intense collision. They then flow into the mold at near-atmospheric pressure, where an exothermic chemical reaction forms polyurethane polymer within the mold.
FRP (Fiber Reinforced Plastic) Process begins with applying a release agent to the cleaned or surface-treated molding face of the mold. After thorough drying, a gel coat or resin mixture—added with hardeners, accelerators, pigment paste, and other additives and thoroughly stirred—is brushed onto the mold surface. Subsequently, pre-cut reinforcing materials such as fiberglass cloth (or mat) are laid over it, ensuring thorough resin impregnation and bubble removal. The layering process is repeated until the design thickness is achieved, followed by curing and demolding.

Production Polishing

After the completion of part processing, the surface of the components is abraded using sandpaper, pumice, fine stone powder, etc., to reduce surface roughness and achieve a smooth finish.

Spray Coloring / Painting

After the completion of polishing, components are spray-painted according to the rendering drawings using a spray gun. Different surface finishing effects are achieved based on the properties of each component and the requirements of the renderings.

Product assembly 

Design drawings can be supplied for mass production by our factory. The material can be selected, and the style and color of 3D Printed Products are not restricted. Any custom product you need, we can produce.

Q2.How long can I get my printing product and how to ensure the integrity of products?
A: The lead time depends on your design drawing and the post-process you choose. It often spends 5-7 days.When the product finished, we will use foam for all-round coverage, then put it into reinforced cartons, and then give it to the courier. We can take photos with customers before and after packaging.

Q3. What payment way is available by ProtoMat?
A: Made in China Trade order, T/T.
